About Enriching Time

Opening up scares me. It really does. I've always been a bit shy. I'm much more content with listening than with speaking up. I’m more likely to observe then volunteer. I’m anxious about trying new things, though I love doing so, but I’m a bit of a perfectionist, wanting to do things perfectly the first time. And yes, at times, I worry about what others might think or say about me or what I do, even though I love who I am.

However, despite my anxieties, this is what I have found throughout my life so far:

I have found my greatest joys have resulted from moving outside my comfort zone. I have found that I love learning and applying what I learn. I have found that I love building connections from those times that I do open up. I have found joy when I face my difficulties head on. I have found that I can overcome challenges time and time again. I have found and strongly believe that progression brings happiness. I have found that when I share what I learn, I learn even more.

This blog is my way of striving to be more open. It is about the setbacks, the struggles, and the joys and triumphs of accomplishment. It’s about sharing what I learn and learning more. It's about being me.

I hope that you too will share your experiences, what kept you back and how you overcame and triumphed.
